Abstract (Document Summary)

So an invitation came to [Adrian Marchuk], asking him to pop down into the hit production that's packing The Venetian Hotel here. He'll be playing [Frankie Valli] for a few weeks and then, who knows?

"I thought it would have been an absolutely great show if only I wasn't it," Angel shared backstage after a performance last week. "But my whole image went against everything we were trying to do."

Angel is now in his element, dispensing his street-smart charm with total ease and performing some absolutely knockout illusions. When he duplicates Houdini's famous straitjacket escape in one-eighth the time of the master, you'll have to agree that it's heart-stoppingly exciting. The show itself is easily the most exciting thing now on stage in Vegas . . . and Angel promises to keep adding killer illusions in the months ahead.
