According to Gelb, in order to think like da Vinci, people need to cultivate certain principles, including curiosity; a commitment to test knowledge through experience and to learn from mistakes; a refinement of the senses; a willingness to embrace ambiguity and uncertainty; and the cultivation of grace, ambidexterity, fitness and poise.
