New York, March 27. -- Carolyn Wells, mystery story writer and author of juvenile and nonsense verse, died yesterday at the FlowerFifth Avenue Hospital. In 1929 she wrote "The Technique of the Mystery Story," considered by writers the most authoritative study of its kind at the time.
