A special meeting of the Jackson Democratic Association was held at Beck's Hall last night. The attendance was very large, all the prominent members being present. In announcing the object of the meeting the President, Mr. John E. Norris, said lie congtratulated the association that at last a Democratic journal had been established at the Capital worthy of the support of every Democrat.
