From the San Francisco Chronicle. Mr. and Mrs. Charles Crocker celebrated the twenty-fifth anniversary of their marriage -- their silver wedding, in other words -- last evening at their handsome residence on California street. They live in the elevated mid aristocratic locality known as "Nob Hill," a neighborhood that, since the advent of the railroad magnates, contains more wealth within small limits than any metropolitan area of the same size in the United States, Leland Standford, Charles Crocker, D. D. Colton and Mark Hopkins rate their wealth by millions, with an aggregate that would astound persons of modest aspirations.
