A number of the most prominent citizens of Annapolis met at the Assembley Rooms last night. for the purpose of devising means whereby the condition of the public schools of Annapolis could be better perfected in structural accommadations. Rev. C.K. Nelson, Vice-Principal of St. John's College, Prof. Wm.H. Thompson, former examiner of the public schools of this county, and Wm.T. Iglehart , Eco., editor of the Advertiser of this city, were present.
