Some three or four years ago, when the old Walnut Street Theatre was in full least and each night welcomed a new star and added to the attractions of the theatre, there came from the East a charming, wild, laughing female vocalist with a banja. Ella Warner was the favorite, and night after night the Walnut-street Theatre shoot and trembled with the applause awarded the young and vivacious blonde from Cincinnati.
