IS IT not about time that the managers of theatrical companies recognize the necessity of reforming certain bad practices that have of late crept into the manners -- or rather the want of manners -- of the stage? We refer to the altogether too realistic kissing, the double enfendre and the much too frequent use of language which would not be tolerated a moment in ordinary society.
