One year after admitting that he bit a 42-year-old Vienna woman during a sexual encounter in a Pentagon City hotel, sportscaster Marv Albert has been given a clean record.

The presiding judge in the high-profile case vacated Albert's guilty plea yesterday and dismissed the misdemeanor charge of assault and battery, saying Albert, 57, has met the conditions for a dismissal that the court set last year.

"There is no conviction of any nature," said Peter D. Greenspun, one of Albert's attorneys. "Marv's pleased and relieved to have this matter behind him."
