Other pianists on the label include Andre Laplante, who has recorded a beautiful CD of Ravel's piano music (Elan CD 2232); Thomas Schumacher, who has a brilliant recording of sonatas by Prokofiev and Scriabin (CD 82242); and William Bloomquist, who has recorded two albums of music for clarinet and piano with Charles Stier (CD 2224 and 2238).

[Bach] is also featured on a disc by [Elmar Oliveira] (CD 2212) - robust, technically dazzling violin performances of the unaccompanied Sonata No. 1 in G minor and the Partita No. 2 (the one that ends with the great Chaconne). Complementing Bach on this disc is a performance of Three Madrigals for violin and viola composed by Bohuslav Martinu, performed with violist Sandra Robbins. This is sinewy, ascetic music like Bach's.

On another Sony recording (SK 53112), [Yo-Yo Ma] is featured with violinist Pamela Frank and pianist Emanuel Ax in several works by Chopin - the Piano Trio, Op. 8, the Sonata for cello and piano, Op. 65, and the Polonaise Brillante, Op. 3, arranged by Emanuel Feuermann. All are beautifully played. The disc also includes Chopin's original version of Op. 3, without cello, played by pianist Eva Osinska.
