The study also found that consumption of fish, eggs, bread, pasta, olive oil, vegetables and fruit "did not reveal any evident relationship with breast cancer." It concluded that "a reduction in consumption of total fat to less than 30 percent, of saturated fat to less than 10 percent and of animal proteins to less than 6 percent of food intake may be strongly protective against breast cancer."
