76ers 88, Raptors 87After six games of brilliant individual performances from two of the NBA's young superstars, Philadelphia 76ers guard Allen Iverson and Toronto Raptors guard Vince Carter, Game 7 came down to a single jump shot. Iverson's shooting eye and his shot selection were noteworthy today because he made 8 of 27 shots, continually taking -- and missing -- difficult attempts. The strategy, employed by the Raptors in the previous game of the series, seemed to effectively take Iverson out of his offensive rhythm. Iverson, who had a sore right hip after an awkward fall in the first half, scored 21 points and, for the first time in 10 games, did not lead the 76ers in scoring. Still, there were some anxious final moments. Philadelphia led 88- 82 with less than three minutes left, but Antonio Davis banked in a short running shot to cut the lead to four. Then after Iverson had the ball stolen, Dell Curry made a fast-break three-pointer from straight out with just under one minute left. Misses by Iverson and [Eric Snow] set up the final play.
