MOUNT CARMEL - Kyle J. Knopp, 20, of 331 W. Seventh St., Mount Carmel, waived charges of aggravated assault, simple assault and recklessly endangering another person, disorderly conduct and stalking, during a preliminary hearing Wednesday before Magisterial District Judge Hugh Jones, of Mount Carmel. Kulpmont Borough Police Patrolman Joshua Pastucka reported in court documents that [Ray Vincenzes] allegedly entered a contract with Joan and Stanley Daniels to redo their sidewalk for $1,400. Vincenzes was given a $700 deposit, and he demolished the sidewalk, but never returned to complete the job. Numerous attempts were made to contact Vincenzes with no success. The charges were filed by Kulpmont Police Patrolman Cade Holden with Magisterial District Judge Hugh Jones, of Mount Carmel. A preliminary hearing before Jones is scheduled for Wednesday, Feb. 27.
