Abstract (Document Summary)

"We were planning on this once we heard how hot it was going to be," said [Rachel Pollack], savoring a spoonful of her cookie dough ice cream. "There's nothing better than ice cream when you need to cool down."

"I use it to keep cool," she said. "It's extremely hot, so I can enjoy the game now."

"It's a lot warmer so I decided to cut it a little short," said Mr. [Charlie Pompey], sweating while taking a quick break as he passed through Olyphant just before sunset.
