Millersburg: The Ned Smith Center for Nature and Art has announced its spring 2012 speaker series, featuring programs designed to increase awareness about environmental- and nature-related topics. All programs begin at 7 p.m. in the center's Seraph Education Room, lower level. The programs are free for center members and children under 12 and $3 for others. The program for April 12 is titled "25 Years in Africa: A Photographic Journey" with award-winning authors and photographers Joe and Mary Ann McDonald who have led photo safaris to East Africa for more than 25 years. On May 8, "The Hidden World of Moths" will feature Seabrooke Leckie, co-author of the new "Peterson Field Guide to Moths of Northeastern North America," sharing the "amazing hidden world of moths."
