Police said charges are pending against [Cinthia Shaffer] and that Pottsville-Schuylkill Haven EMS and East Norwegian Township firefighters assisted at the scene.

A 38-year-old Shenandoah man was arrested by state police at Schuylkill Haven and charged with retail theft after an incident at Weis Markets in Pottsville Park Plaza, Norwegian Township, at 2:51 p.m. Wednesday.

PORT CARBON - Jeremiah Ruscavage, 31, of Pottsville, was taken into custody Wednesday morning by Pottsville police and turned over to Port Carbon police on a bench warrant that was issued for his arrest in connection with a 2010 theft of stainless steel pipe.
