Included in the plans for the arena if the tax passes are adding about 1,500 seats, bringing capacity to the 9,000 range for some events; adding suites around the top of the arena; replacing seating with more comfortable, modern models; replacing the scoreboard; adding a larger stage; upgrading the lighting, sound and electrical systems; redoing the facade and exterior look of the building; refurbishing the concession stands; and adding new kitchen, restroom and dressing room facilities.
