The school board will have a special meeting at 6 p.m. in the administration building, 1925 Lapeer Ave., Port Huron, to hear presentations from two search firms -- the Michigan Association of School Boards and Northstar Staffing Inc., which is based in Ramsey, N.J. Jeff Stout, president of the school board, said board members have not decided whether a search firm will be used to find a replacement for Superintendent Tom Shorkey.
