According to a probable cause affidavit, Farling approached a sheriff's deputy sent to the scene of the accident, in the 1700 block of South Delaware County Road 550-E, and said he "was driving the cart down the hill" when he traveled into some weeds, "the cart went down the embankment and flipped into the creek."
