It will be sung by the well-regarded 22-member Palestrina Choir conducted by Michael Harrison with a libretto from [Nick Peros] drawn from sacred texts, including the Lamentations of Jeremiah, Psalms and Isaiah from the Bible. The concert is free.

Two have been released on his Phoenix record label, Nick Peros- Motets and Songs, which features 31 songs that employ the poetry of Wordsworth, Blake, A.E. Housman and Emily Bronte performed by soprano Heidi Klann and pianist Alayne Hall. Cellist Simon Fryer (of the Toronto Symphony Orchestra), bass Paul Bresciani and composer Ron Beckett record for Phoenix.

Peros has a large catalogue with more than 150 works that cover symphonic, orchestral, choral, vocal and chamber genres. He has produced music for dance companies, pieces that incorporate dance and theatre, and for the past nine years has devoted himself to non- commissioned works.
