Abstract (Document Summary)

Returning to the site of his first career win as a jockey, Toronto native Robert Landry guided heavily favoured Archers Bay to a thrilling win in yesterday's Prince of Wales Stakes at Fort Erie racetrack.

A crowd of 6,633 were treated to a stretch duel between Archers Bay, the Queen's Plate winner, and Nite Dreamer, fourth in the Plate.

Landry, 35, got the call on Archers Bay when American rider Kent Desormeaux, who rode the colt to the Plate win, was committed to ride in California.
