Abstract (Document Summary)

`I wanted to end my career with the Argos, but it appeared they weren't too keen on having me back,'' [Rodney] Harding, one of four Toronto Argonauts to make the CFL all-star team last season, told The Star from his home in Oklahoma City yesterday.

``But I'm playing the best football of my career right now and was being productive,'' he said. ``Other teams in the CFL were showing an interest in me and I told Bob (O'Billovich, general manager) I couldn't keep on waiting for the Argos to make up their mind.''

CURLING: Chris Galbraith of Winnipeg finished in a first-place tie with Scotland's Tom Brewster in the round-robin portion of the world junior men's curling championships at Perth, Scotland.
