Abstract (Document Summary)

The 2-year-old filly had shown plenty of promise when she won by 11 lengths to break her maiden - in her first start. Yesterday, with Sandy Hawley up, she added to her credentials by beating the game longshot Scattered Dreams, under David Clark, by a neck to win the Fanfreluche Stakes at Woodbine.

Kinghaven Farms' Plenty Of Sugar, with Robert Landry aboard, beat only one filly in the Grade I Queen Elizabeth II Challenge Cup at Keeneland.

Here's the field and jockeys from the rail out: Timber Taler, Robin Platts; Steady Kid, Dave Penna; Flashy Regent, Sandy Hawley; and Desert Waves, Jack Lauzon.
