Abstract (Document Summary)

Two leaders of anti-dump protesters from [Vaughan] knocked on the front door of Premier Bob Rae's Baby Point home yesterday, but no one answered.

He said if the mega-dump goes through in Vaughan, it will affect the quality of the Humber River, which flows near Rae's neighborhood on its way to Lake Ontario.

For the walk to Rae's front door, [Peter Meff] was joined by Mario Ferri, organizer of Vaughan CARES (Committee of Associations to Restore Environmental Sanitation).
