Abstract (Document Summary)

The perspectives of [Erwin Lutzer] and [Phyllis Curott], who came to the meeting as president of the neo-pagan Covenant of the Goddess, show how hard it is to pull together a community of spiritual leaders to stand united against what they see as the world's evils.

Consensus and harmony were especially difficult as members of this broad assembly - including Christians, Jews, Muslims, Buddhists, Sikhs, Baha'is and neo-pagans - are fighting one another, on battlefields across the globe or in wars of words at the parliament itself.
