Abstract (Document Summary)

The trail was never built between Yonge and Bay Sts. But now it has also disappeared under construction between Bay and York Sts. Cyclists have to go from the south side of Queen's Quay at Yonge to rejoin the trail one block north and several blocks west at Harbour and York Sts. They either battle with pedestrians on the sidewalk or ride against the traffic.

The committee is also planning to link the trail to 7 kilometres (4 miles) of cycle paths in Tommy Thompson Park on the Leslie Street Spit, he said. From there cyclists could go north on the Don Trail up the Don Valley or along the Goodman Trail.
