The threesome, better known as Tony Toni Tone, whipped up a feast of '70s-steeped soul numbers for their third album, appropriately titled Sons Of Soul, in bassist-singer Raphael Wiggins's "kitchen" earlier this year. To capture the full sounds on Sons Of Soul, Wiggins, brother D'wayne (guitar, vocals) and cousin Tim Christian Riley (drums) have put together a seven-piece posse of musicians for their current tour, opening for [Janet Jackson].
