Three could be a crowd in CBC's Grey Cup booth

The CBC is continuing with three men in its booth for the Baltimore-B.C. Lions game - Don Wittman with analysts James Curry and Dan Kepley. There also will be two game-day experts - Edmonton Eskimos coach Ron Lancaster, a former CBC analyst, and David Archer, quarterback for the Sacramento Gold Miners, with host Scott Oake. AND ELSEWHERE: TSN has radio rights for the Grey Cup and will use its TV people, John Wells, Leif Pettersen, Gord Miller, plus broadcasters from the competing teams as its crew. CFRB 1010, CHML 900 and CJRN 710 are the stations in this area. . . . Olympic gold medalist Kerrin Lee-Gartner will replace Currie Chapman as CBC analyst for the World Cup women's ski racing series, but she may miss some events as she is expecting her first child. . . . Ken Read returns for another year as analyst for the men's circuit. . . . The AHL magazine show Rinkside is back on TSN. . . . Leafs' Bill Berg is spending some of his spare time as color analyst for Mel Raskin on CKDO 1350's Oshawa Generals junior hockey broadcasts. . . . The curling season gets under way for TSN next weekend with Russ Howard's rink the three-time defending champions on the $100,000 Skins Game. . . . Golf's popular Skins Game is on ABC this weekend.
