Guy Paul Morin was "frightened beyond belief" when he was quickly dumped into the general prison population within days of arrival at a Kingston penitentiary and after he had been convicted of murdering nine-year-old Christine Jessop. Morin, who now owns a car maintenance company, was acquitted in 1986 of killing Jessop, whose body was found in a field near Sunderland in Durham region after she went missing after school on Oct. 3, 1984. She had been sexually assaulted and stabbed to death. Reproduced with permission of the copyright owner. Further reproduction or distribution is prohibited without permission.
