Sooner or later, you devout followers of the British TV series EastEnders are likely to see an episode featuring beer-swilling Brownies who go shoplifting and take their boyfriends to camp. EastEnders character Marge Green told a horrifying tale of a Brownie outing in one episode last year. It went further and the broadcasting commission said the EastEnders Brownie episodes "came near to parody," were unfair to the Brownies and harmed the Girl Guides' image.
