The men's Labatt Brier gets under way next Sunday in Saskatoon (TSN) and concludes Sunday, March 12; semifinal and final on CBC. The CBC also will carry nightly Brier wrapups at 11:30 p.m. Linda Moore, former world champion skip who also directed Canada to victory in the Olympic demonstration bonspiel, replaces veteran Vera Pezer as the resident expert on women's curling. Moore joins announcer Vic Rauter and former Brier curler Ray Turnbull. "We consider it is important to have a women as part of our women's coverage," Rick Brace, TSN director of program planning and development and a former curling producer, explained.
