HALIFAX (CP-AP) - A search was under way today off Cape Forchu, N.S., for two people who were swept out to sea by heavy waves whipped by Hurricane Bob. At least 20 injuries were attributed to the storm as it sped northward from the Carolinas into Maine and towards the Maritimes. In New Brunswick, the tropical storm produced sporadic power outages in the Fredericton area. Wind and lightning toppled some trees and utility poles, officials said. Heavy rain was reported.
