ATHENS (Reuter-AP) - Firefighters searching a burned-out department store in Athens found three more bodies, police said today, raising to four the number of people killed in riots between students and police. They said protesters hurling firebombs started the blaze, but several witnesses blamed police tear gas canisters. The crisis flared Wednesday when Education Minister Vassilis Kondoyannopoulos resigned after high school teacher Nikos Temponeras, 38, was killed. He had been struck on the head by an iron bar, allegedly by the chairman of the local youth wing of the governing New Democracy party. Reproduced with permission of the copyright owner.
