[1 Edition]

Toronto, Ont.
ROBERT LECKER of Montreal is on a mission to let travellers and locals alike discover places not normally listed in guidebooks. The McGill University English professor has created the series of "secret" guidebooks which so far cover Montreal, Toronto and New York, with Chicago coming in March and San Francisco later this year. - In Secret Montreal, author Tod Hoffman calls it a "marvellous city in which to meander aimlessly." He steers readers to "lesser- known delights" away from the traditional downtown and Old Montreal tourist areas. Guidebooks in the "secret" series: Secret Montreal (160 pages, $19.95); Secret Toronto (240 pages, $17.95) and Secret New York (224 pages, $17.95). Reproduced with permission of the copyright owner.
