 Riverdale soap opera to hit TV in its prime

TORONTO TV producer Linda Schuyler, who made the kids and teenagers of the Degrassi series known to a worldwide TV audience, now is thinking soap opera - big time. She and Degrassi writer Yan Moore have created Riverdale, the first prime-time soap opera to originate in English Canada. It is to begin shooting next month at a 4 1/2-acre site Schuyler's company ``and the bank'' recently bought in the Eglinton Ave.-Don Valley Parkway area.
