"Around the Horn," now starring Tony Reali, who replaced Max Kellerman, lines up four sports columnists every day from either The Boston Globe (Bob Ryan, Michael Smith or Jackie MacMullan), The Chicago Sun-Times (Jay Mariotti), The Denver Post (Woody Paige, my favorite), The Dallas Morning News (Kevin Blackistone or "Texas" Tim Cowlishaw) and The L.A. Times (Bill Plaschke or J.A. Adande). [...] in a very clever "show of competitive banter" the four, while commenting on the day's sporting and other viable news on video screens from each location, duke it out until one scribe is left and given a final, prestigious 15 seconds to speak his mind.
