New Jersey will channel $1.33 million through Cumberland County government this year for local projects ranging from installing sidewalks and utility pipelines to rehabilitating homes and, in the city's case, possibly relocating a library. The city has no definite direction it plans to take with the library, but a relocation is under investigation and possibly some sort of "shared services" arrangement with the county library in eastern Bridgeton, the mayor said.
