A former USO dancer, she worked for the State Department of Military and Veterans affairs and has for years hosted holiday parties for veterans at the New Jersey Memorial Home in Vineland. The author of a scholarly paper on "Women of the Third Reich, 1933-45," she has diligently collected materials from trips to concentration camps in Poland, Germany and the Czech Republic to help her students experience the tragedies of the Holocaust.
