Bob was president of the Salinas Valley Builders Exchange in 1967, a 40-year member of the Salinas Elks Lodge No. 614, a member of the Pi Delta Kappa fraternity, president of the Gonzales Rotary Club in 1991-92, a past member of the Salinas Jaycees, member of the Salinas Chamber of Commerce, and was very active in the Friends of the American Fighter Aces (which recently honored him), the Southern California Aces, Northern California Aces and the Rotary International Hosting and Travel Fellowship.
