Knapp named G.M. for Bayou Beast club
Ted "Rock" Knapp, a highly-successful Houston high school football coach whose teams played for nine state titles in 17 years, has been named general manager of the fledging Louisiana Bayou Beast football team.
Knapp's teams have posted a 141-39-1 record in 17 years, his latest school Houston Christian. The school had lost 39 consecutive games and four head coaches in five years.
