Marc J. Yacht, director of the Pasco County Health Department, foresaw no supply problems about a week ago for the agency's many flu shot outreach programs.
Then the U.S. vaccine supply was cut nearly in half on Tuesday after Britain shut down flu-shot maker Chiron Corp.'s plant in Liverpool because of manufacturing problems.
