He was owner & operator of Bryant's Barbershop & a member & deacon of Trinity Baptist Church. Survived by 1 son Robert Bryant, Jr.; 3 daughters, Cynthia Howard, Karen Bryant & Nikki Revere; 5 brothers, Lucius Sr., Wilson, M.B., Anthony & Pierce Bryant 2 sisters, Mary Walton, all of St. Petersburg & Corestine "Pat" [ANDERSON, Eric], Long Branch, NJ; 4 grandsons & 4 grand-daughters; a host of relatives and friends. A memorial service will be held on Friday, June 11, 6 pm at Queen St. Church of God in Christ, 1737 9 Ave S

WATKINS, Linda A. 61, of St. Petersburg, a devoted mother and grandmother went to the Lord Tuesday, June 8, 2010 at Bayfront Medical Center after a long battle with cancer. Survived by her children, Patrick (DeAnn) of Ohio, and Patrice (Bill) of St. Petersburg; grandchildren, James Ham, Jade Brown, Jessica William, Jonathan and Nathan Hubbard, all of St. Petersburg, Ashlee Watkins of Fosston, MN; a truly devoted friend, Horace Watkins of St. Petersburg; a devoted cousin, Thelma Thomas of Alexandria, VA; a devoted aunt, Lillie Edwards of Daphne, AL; a devoted cousin, Rueben Wilkins of Brundidge, AL and a host of family and friends. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 12, 2010, 2 pm at Pinellas Community Church 5501 31st St. S. Visitation Friday June 11, 2010, 3-8 pm at the funeral home chapel, no family wakes services. Repast will be held at the Childs Park YMCA, 691-43rd St. S. "A McRae Service"

YOUNG, Mary Elizabeth Age 89, of Safety Harbor, died June 7, 2010 at Freedom Inn, Clearwater. Born Oct. 29, 1920 in Darke County, OH, she was the daughter of Earl & Luella Young. After graduating from Gettysburg High School Class of 1938, she worked at the tomato canning factory in Bradford, OH and at a shirt factory in Piqua, OH. On Oct. 21, 1939, Mary married Herschel W. Young and they were married for 70 years. After WWII Mary & Herschel "Heck" moved to Clearwater to begin a new life in the residential and commercial building business. Mary was the office manager for H.W. Young Builder of Fine Homes. Her hobbies were watching the Tampa Bay Rays, playing cards and taking care of Heck. She is survived by two sons, Robert E. Young & David W. Young; grandson David E. Young of Memphis, TN; granddaughter-in-law Angela D. Young, Memphis; grandson Ronald W. Young, Memphis; granddaughter-in-law Dawn Young, Memphis; grandson James W. Young of Vero Beach, FL; granddaughter-in-law Linda Young; granddaughter Katie Young of Chicago, IL; granddaughter, Kristen Kronfeld of Mendocino, CA; grandson-in-law Jack Kronfeld, Mendocino; granddaughter Molly K. Reed of Safety Harbor, FL; great-granddaughter Perren Rene Young of Memphis; great-grandson Dillon Young of Memphis; great-grandson Dalton Young of Memphis; great-granddaughter Laine Marie Young of Memphis; nephew Ronald Young, Piqua, OH; and niece Louella Scherer, Piqua, OH. The services will be at Sylvan Abbey, 2853 Sunset Point Rd., Clearwater, FL. Viewing from 12:30-2 pm and funeral service at 1 pm in the main Chapel.
