BRAHAM, KAREN L., 56, of Clearwater, died Sunday (April 5, 1998) at Mease Countryside Hospital, Safety Harbor. She was born in Otter Lake, Mich., and came here in 1990 from Flushing, Mich. Survivors include three sons, Dennis Green, Clearwater, Larry Green, Lithonia, Ga., and Ernie Green, Otisville, Mich.; two daughters, Debbie MacMillan and Donna Bingham, both of Clearwater; her parents, Gerald and Doris Stiff, Otisville; a sister, Beverly Lukasavitz, Davison, Mich.; 11 grandchildren; and a great-granddaughter. Blount, Curry & Roel Funeral Homes & Cemeteries, Lakeview Chapel-Sylvan Abbey, Clearwater.

DRAIN, JAN E., 53, of Clearwater, died Friday (April 3, 1998) at home. He came here in 1964 from his native Evansville, Ind. Survivors include three daughters, Jinny Hawkins, Tampa, Kimberli Ross, Seffner, and Michelle Drain, Ogden, Utah; three sons, Wilbur Jones, Brooklyn, Ohio, Criag Drain, New Mexico, and David Drain, Ogden; his mother, Mary E. Drain, Clearwater; three brothers, Jerry Shaffer, Palm Harbor, Jim Drain, Clearwater, and Jeff Drain, Dunedin; two sisters, Jackie Simon, Clearwater, and Judy Dowd, Largo; a companion, Wanda Jones, Tampa; and 14 grandchildren. North American Cremation Society, Deerfield Beach.

GUERRA, ELENA M., of Clearwater, formerly of Tampa, died Saturday (April 4, 1998) at Gulf Coast Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Clearwater. She was born in Havana moved in 1929 to Tampa and moved in 1950 to Clearwater. She was a homemaker and a florist. She was Roman Catholic. She was an honorary member of Clearwater Garden Club, a life member of Florida Federation of Garden Clubs, a member of Davis Island Garden Club, District VIII Judges Council and Floralia Chapter 2, all in Tampa. Survivors include a son, Julio, Long Beach, Calif.; a brother, Emilio DeMesa, Tampa; a companion, Jestina "Chela" Sotomayor, Clearwater; and two grandchildren.
