Abstract (Document Summary)

Major League Baseball is planning to scramble the satellite signals of playoff games not available for network viewing in this area. Translation: It's quite possible you're going to spend the entire post-season seeing the Braves and only the Braves.

The Baseball Network - the joint agreement between baseball, ABC and NBC - calls for playoff games to be regionalized.

Final decisions on regionalization haven't been made because the playoff field isn't set, but the logical choice for this area is the Braves. All playoff games will be played simultaneously, so it won't be like the old days where you saw an American League game in the afternoon and the National League game at night. It'll be the Braves or the Colorado Silver Bullets on Sunshine.
