Abstract (Document Summary)

Cuba accused exiles Friday of violating its waters and airspace and warned them their boats and aircraft could be sunk and shot down if any future incursions occur.

The Cuban government said in an official statement released here that it had not used force or firepower to block a flotilla of 11 vessels that entered Cuban waters Thursday to commemorate the sinking of a refugee boat last year.

It denounced the incursion by the flotilla, which was accompanied by six small planes and two helicopters also piloted by exiles, as "a flagrant violation of international laws."
