Abstract (Document Summary)

BROOKSVILLE - About 15 members of the Ku Klux Klan, a white supremacist group, plan to hold a rally and recruitment drive next Saturday on the steps of the Hernando County Courthouse, according to the group's state leader.

``It's important for the white people to stick together like the blacks,`` said Tony Bastanzio, the grand wizard for Florida's KKK. ``We want to increase membership and make people aware that Martin Luther King was a communist and that his legal name is Michael.``

Bastanzio informed local law enforcement and county officials about his plan to have the members of the group, sporting white robes, hold the rally from 2 to 4 p.m.
