The Stuart Society's series of parties to benefit the Museum of Fine Arts continues with three offerings in January. A cooking class by the Wine Cellar restaurant on Jan. 7 at Linda Jantschek's home includes the three-course meal you will have just learned to prepare. Figure Faux Pas and Fixes - and who doesn't need that kind of help? - on Jan. 22 is hosted by Anje Bogott, Carol Fisher, Suzanne MacDougald and Donna Painter with some beautiful clothes by Carlisle in the Polywog Room at the Sunset Ballroom. Jan. 29 is Tea with the Authors, featuring Barbara Harrington, Aaron Fodiman and Shirley Linde in the garden of the Museum of Fine Arts. For information, call 823-6140.
In the crowd were Raul Quintana; Ford Kyes, CEO of St. Anthony's Health Care, which was a major sponsor; Barbara Kyes; Tony Rivas; Sister Karen Burns; Rabbi Michael Torop; Jim Thurman and his mother Ruth Thurman; Terry Cobb; John Erik Savitsky; CASA board president Mark Kamleiter; Jean Krause; David and Astrid Ellis; Sandra Gadsden; Irwin and Sonya Miller, hosting two tables; Bill Protz; Carol Upham; Rodney Gaddy; Aila McEwen; Jan Sher, entering the countdown for Festival Beth El in late January for which she is a co-chair; Ron Oxman; Darlene Grayson; Padmini Durr; Alice Eachus; Penny and Dick Crippen, the ubiquitous (and very nice) master of ceremonies who for once got to come as a guest and was not charged with keeping us under control; Judy Jourdan; Stephanie Goforth; Michele Tuegel; Evelyn Craft Davey; Judge John Lenderman; Dagmar De Stefano; David Pilkington, and Steve and Anne Anderson.
