Abstract (Document Summary)

The plot: A fun class trip is what Hannah is expecting when she steps onto the train heading for San Francisco. That is, until later, when Hannah walks through the baggage compartment and sees a coffin. Inside it is "Frog," one of Hannah's classmates.

Scared silly, Hannah runs to her friends' compartment and tells them what she has seen. Hannah and her friends talk about Frog's sudden death and guiltily remember how mean each and every one of them had been to him.
