Abstract (Document Summary)
The state raised the bar for FCAT scores and changed the grading formula to include more English language learners and special education students. Perhaps the most dramatic example was Gadsden County's Greensboro Elementary School, which was among nine schools statewide that could have fallen from an A to an F. Gadsden Superintendent Reginald James said its score was weighed down in part by the inclusion of more English-language learners in the grading formula.
