Payments by the county commission, unanimously approved Tuesday, and city -- on its agenda today -- will help satisfy a long-standing lawsuit against the Civic Center Authority by Tallahassee Hotel Associates Ltd. The suit, filed in Leon County Circuit Court, prevented FSU from assuming control of the Civic Center earlier this year after the Legislature gave its approval in the budget passed in March.
